Genome Core Facility, Trondheim
(IKOM, NTNU)

The Genomics Core Facility (GCF) at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, NTNU, is a national NorSeq node and has provided advanced genomic services for more than 20 years.
GCF offers a broad portfolio of high-throughput sequencing technologies and molecular methods to study:
-Genome structure
-Gene expression
-Epigenetics
-Cellular heterogeneity

NorSeq–Trondheim and GCF are situated at the Department of Clinical and Molecular Medicine at NTNU and are co-localized with the sequencing laboratory at the Division of Laboratory Medicine at St. Olav’s Hospital. This ensures close interaction with both research and clinical environments.
Through strong integration with NTNU, St. Olav’s Hospital, and the national NorSeq infrastructure, we support biomedical and translational research initiatives locally and across Norway.
