Norseq NODES
NorSeq is Norway’s national sequencing infrastructure, providing cutting-edge short and long-read technologies, single-cell and spatial multi-omics, high-throughput automation, and advanced bioinformatics across five expert nodes in Oslo, Bergen, Trondheim, Tromsø and the national cancer node.
Together, the centres deliver end-to-end services—from study design and library preparation to sequencing and data analysis—supporting research in medicine, cancer, biology, ecology and translational science. With extensive instrument parks, certified technologies, and highly skilled staff, NorSeq handles tens of thousands of samples annually and enables high-quality, reproducible genomic research across Norway.

Norseq Oslo
National Sequencing Center (NSC) delivers high-throughput short- and long-read sequencing with strong automation, processing ~30,000 samples annually across UiO and OUS. The node provides full-service workflows—from study design to sequencing and analysis—and will move to the new Life Science Building in 2027.
